Description

Transport vehicle of the German Faltschwimmbrücken system is the truck 7t milglw the next generation. Compared to the "normal" 7-tonne, the bridge transporter in the wheelbase has been extended from 3,800 mm to 4,700 mm. This results in total dimensions of the unloaded vehicle of 9.110 mm in length and 3.300 mm in width. The ramped vehicles are 9,240 mm long. If FSB middle parts are transported, then the vehicle has a length of 10,400 mm. To accommodate the bridge parts or was a complete redesign of the cargo area was necessary. Instead of the loading platform, the bridge transporters have a flatbed frame with loading and unloading with four rollers, latches, lashing and stops and treads for the operating crew of gratings. Behind the cab, a helm was set up, from which the hydraulic A-boom and the hoist winch are operated. The vehicle is additionally equipped with a raised exhaust system.

MAN's FSB and M-boat transporters were built between 1978 and 1985.
