6-channel nano function module 041 for emergency vehicles
Tiny little light effect module for illuminating model emergency vehicles such as the fire brigade, police, THW etc.
Outputs:
1 + 2 double strobes (asynchronous)
3 + 4 single flashers (asynchronous)
5 + 6 indicators in parallel (synchronous)
With the ultra-compact light effect module specially developed for model making, you can realistically display the lighting of vehicles or buildings, etc. Optionally, you can vary the speed by 50% using the rotary potentiometer. In addition, external control of the module is possible.
Pattern: 041 emergency vehicles
Battery operation: on the DC connection pads from 2.2 - 5V DC voltage.
AC operation: On the AC connection pads from 6 - 16 volts.
Direct voltage operation: The AC connection pads can also be used for direct voltage up to 24 volts. The loss through the rectifier is 1.5 volts.
Various vehicle lamps can be operated through the 6 outputs:
This means that the entire lighting of an ambulance or police vehicle, for example, can be controlled.
The following rule applies to the supply on the DC connection pad in the extra-low voltage range of 5 volts or less: The supply voltage of the module must always be above the typical operating voltage of the LED.
1-4 LEDs can be connected to each of the 6 outputs. Each output delivers 20mA. With e.g. 4 LEDs, each LED gets 5mA.
If you connect several LEDs, they share the output current and thus become slightly dimmer.
The board is fully equipped with series resistors.
(G) speed control:
The module has a potentiometer that can be switched on as an option (close solder bridge G, see instructions).
This allows the speed of the program to vary by 50%.
(E) switch-on contact:
The module can be activated by connecting an external button, switch or decoder.
Button: short press: one-time run through of the program or: as long as the button is held, the program runs through.
Switch: permanent run of the program as long as the switch is closed.
Decoder or e.g. Arduino: If you want to control the module via a function output of your model railway decoder, please use an optocoupler. This is included in the accessories.
The connection variants and additional functions are described in Figure 6 and in the instructions.
The output pins and the voltage supply are provided as soldering pads (soldering contacts) for soldering cables.
The compact module fits into even the smallest models. (10.3 x 23.4 x 2.9mm)
For this product you need the LEDs that you want to connect and a voltage source.
The module is ideal for use with SMD LEDs with enameled wire, as no additional resistors are required.
